To order vital records from the County Clerks office………..

A record search can NOT be instigated over the phone.
Must be by mail or in person at the office.

 

Records Prior to 1916: Any birth, death or marriage is $3.00 each (will be an uncertified copy)

For records 1916 and after:   
The fee for marriage and birth certificates is $12.00 for the first certified copy and $2.00 for each 
additional certified copy of the same record at the same time.

The fee for death certificates is $14.00 for the first certified copy and $4.00 for each additional 
certified copy of the same record at the same time.

Requests for marriage records should include the brides name and the grooms name, date and place
of marriage and the number of certified/uncertified copies you would like.  
Requests for death records should include name of deceased, date of death, place of death and the
 number of certified/uncertified copies you would like. 

Because of the confidential nature of birth records, births in 1916 and after can only be obtained 
by the person himself, a parent or other legal representative.  When requesting a birth certificate
the following information should be given:  name at birth, date of birth, place of birth, mothers 
full maiden name, father full name, name, address and phone number of person requesting birth
 record and a photocopy of the drivers license of the person requesting the record.
